After a month of the disappearance of a teenager in Spain, police has implicated ex-boyfriend and two of his friends by traces of blood on his clothes, though the body does not appear. Changing and contradictory confessions show a coldness that, according to many people, not before seen in adolescents. But in recent years, child cruelty ceased to be reserved to the fiction of Lord of the flies. Minors who were tied to a smaller child to the train tracks in United Kingdom, three teenagers who burned clean out loud a person homeless in Barcelona; the beatings and humiliation of children outside schools recorded with cell phones around the world; the proliferation on the Internet of racist and xenophobic messages, previously announced in the United States, Finland, Germany school massacres; assaults not only already teachers, but even the own parents for many, is a contradiction, because this generation has, in the rich countries, with all the possible comforts. Many parents have desvivido so that their children do not suffer, so they have everything that they could not have. Something that, thus raised is infinite. Perhaps then come so many demands in clothes and food, irritability and so little resistance to the frustration of some minors.
For its part, children and young people have swallowed everything that TV has thrown them over while their parents worked all day: disasters, violence, job insecurity (do to what study and strive?), culture is all worth just to win. All this uncertainty is combined with the lack of references in a world narcissistic and soft French sociologist Gilles Lipovesky describes in the era of vacuum. Still, many parents complain about how bad that is youth and defend its so-called absolute right to decide about the transmission of moral values to their children, rather than acknowledge their part in the failure. These positions weaken the coexistence in societies increasingly interrelated and plurals.
